A couple of weeks ago we hosted the inaugural dinner for
the Sexy Spanish Club. One of the guests was also one of the proprietor's
of Montagne Outdoors S.A., a major sporting goods store here. They decided
to hold a departmental holiday dinner here. His request - Italian food -
not something I'm ever likely to turn down, being one of my favorite
things to cook. They had a few restrictions on the menu, but basically
gave me free reign, with the instructions to just keep it a simple Italian
dinner, i.e., home cooking - maybe like his grandmother used to make?

Comments from some of our guests:
"EVERYTHING was fabulous, and people really enjoyed the food.
Every plate was delicious and not too heavy, and gluten-free girl is
still allergy free! Italian boy was very impressed, too, and he's VERY
picky. By the way, people were amazed at how juicy the chicken breast
was. I'm not usually a fan of the chicken boob because it's boring and
dry, so I have to ask you how you got it to turn out so moist and juicy.
The pesto was the besto. snort! I LOVED the salad, and the lychees with
the ice cream was a funky and fun combo. I used to eat frozen lychees
out of the can growing up. Improvements? None. Henry was perfect, a
nice, calm presence (I'm going to have to try his massage soon). Great
ambience, great music great price. We'll have to do this again." - E.A.
