A few thoughts on the food - Pork absolutely sublime; spicing on accompaniment could be toned down a notch so that a stray burst of heat won't overpower the magical flavour of the meat. Eggplant and beef just great. Kung pow chicken amazing, leading me to ask for chef's secret - just how did you manage to keep the chicken so amazingly tender? The marinade? "I very much enjoyed my evening at your casa - the food was excellent and the company entertaining. One suggestion is not to split the group into 2. Even though I had booked first and arrived first, I felt like I was relegated to the "kids' table" because I wasn't with someone else. Luckily, the couple from Toronto and the teenage son of your other guests were excellent company! But I think we all felt a bit removed from the action by the end of the night.
