There are few things more romantic than a guy (or gal)
cooking dinner for you. Unless, of course, they simply can’t cook… at
which point you struggle feebly to hold onto the romantic thoughts at the
same time you struggle mightily to swallow and keep your food down. There
are many ways around this - the most common are probably resorting to
going out to a restaurant and hoping for a romantic experience, or
bringing food in from somewhere outside. Here at Casa S, we got to
participate in the former, but in a far more unique manner. I was
contacted by a young man who is temporarily living here in BsAs while
studying, his girlfriend was in for a few day visit, and he wanted to take
her out to a quiet romantic dinner somewhere special, and not in the
middle of a crowded restaurant. He wanted to book Casa S for just the two
of them.

From the happy couple:
"The evening was indeed very romantic and the food was wonderful.
We really enjoyed the Latin combinations, the gazpacho and the shrimp
were exceptional, and the Andean grains completely new and interesting.
The trout was very good, although I thought the pumpkin covering
actually took away from the fish a bit. Everything was truly on point,
including the selection of wine – perfect.... Henry was terrific (please
extend our praises) and the evening was exactly as I had hoped. Thanks
so much for accommodating us. I’m sure you have plenty of
recommendations, etc. but if you wanted a blurb to promote the private
dinner, please don’t hesitate. K... and I just returned from Calafate,
where I proposed, to a backdrop of lake, mountains, birds, and laguna.
(She said yes)." - T.W.
