The instructions were, as they often are for private
parties, simple: we want spice, no nuts, group of eight women writers, go.
So was born a little round the world tour of spices, in five plates,
bonded together by little more than whimsy.

can't get over that GREAT menu you printed up! How creative! My favorite
course was....well, I can't pick a favorite because it was all so
delicious, but I really loved the Rendang and the dessert was to die
