My first thought was to do some sort of take on a fancied up airline meal, but there’s just so much one can do with what amounts to a tv dinner. I went from there into researching the idea of some luxury airline menus - some of the major first class cabin sorts of soirees - particularly the menus from flights of the Concorde. And we almost went that way here at Casa S, and then it occurred to me that we could go with a menu focusing on those who inspired flight in the first place, birds - I know, it’s a bit ironic that those who inspired find themselves expired… on the plate. Circle of life and all that.

"Con P... disfrutamos mucho tú cena. Lograste juntar un grupo simpático y diferente, el ambiente muy agradable y la comida muy rica. Quizás el menú de diferentes “birds”, si bien acompañaron la celebración del primer vuelo de los “Wright Brothers”, yo lo hubieses combinado un poquito con algún otro plato diferente …..… para hacerlo más divertido…Capaz con algún toque brasileño en reconocimiento a Santos Dumont…. Que después de todo hizo su vuelo en la misma época y un poquito más cerca de Buenos Aires…. Pero te repito que todo muy bueno y los vinos muy ricos también. "We loved it. When we return to BA we’d love to come back if you’ll have us…The food was great and company good too. Would’ve liked to have interacted with you and Henry more but hard with a large group. My only critique was the separate tables but totally understand given space and the number of people. More time at the beginning to mingle would also be good." - A.B.
