Though he appeared, and often starred, in more than one hundred films
during his career, Fred MacMurray is probably best known as the Stephen
Douglas, the patriarch of the My Three Sons family on television
(and, I believe, his only television work). Of course, the show ran for
twelve years on a weekly basis, which put him up there in front of us
pretty regularly. Generally he was simply typecast as “the nice guy” in
films, despite some of his best acting work being in other roles. This
past weekend he joined our Casa SaltShaker honor roll of centenarians.

Comments from some of our guests:
"Casa SaltShaker fue la mejor experiencia de este viaje. Esperamos
poder visitarlos nuevamente en Enero 2009. Solo cambiaría el caviar por
“the real one”, pero entiendo que eso requeriría un plus de precio. Hasta
pronto!" - R.S.
"Thanks again for such a nice dinner. G... and I had a great time and
would happily book another dinner if we're lucky enough to venture down to
Buenos Aires again." - A.P.
"We really enjoyed our experience at Casa SaltShaker! We usually do not
branch out like that and are very glad we made the exception. Everything
was delicious! We fell in love with that soup, if you ever write a
cookbook or want to share that recipe, put me on the list. We loved all of
the wines as well. We will recommend you to all of our friends planning
trips to Buenos Aires. We will see you on our next visit." - K.G.
