"Just wanted to say "Thank You" again for a terrific evening of food and fun. The food and wine were outstanding and I enjoyed the interesting mix of companions brought together. Thank you for opening your home and sharing your craft with us!" - M.&R.

"We had a great time last Friday night. Dinner, wine and conversation were excellent. Thanks again. It was really nice to meet you. Next time we're in BA we'll try to see you again." - S.G.

"We had a wonderful evening at your home in BA....food and wines were great! Wondering if you would share the salad recipe w/ me (dinner on 1/01). I will certainly recommend Casa Salt Shaker to anyone traveling to BA." - D.G.

"I had a wonderful time at the dinner, everything was excellent.  I do have two requests though.  Would you mind sending me the theme and the menu from 2/1/09?  I'm going to post on my blog about the dinner and I'd love to have all the correct information to go with my pictures.  Also, I have a friend coming in next month and I'd love to book two spots on 13/2/09 if you'll be having another dinner. Thank you for the great dinner, my parents loved it!" - E.K.

"Thanks again for the lovely night! My feedback (as well as P... and M...) is inline with the details A... left below, with a few other comments: Music was great, presentation of everything excellent, very unique dishes, we LOVED the salad, LOVED all the the wine with the exception of the rose (which I liked but the boys didn't fancy at all), thought the soup a bit too salty, and the indian pasta not quite as exceptional as the rest. Yourself and Henry are amazing hosts and the timeliness of your email responses were unbelievable! We would definitely come back again for another dinner and recommend friends!
Muchas gracias" - K.D.

"Concept: Excellent; Atmosphere: Welcoming, liked the lighting, music was in good taste and at a good volume
Experience: Warm welcome, attentive table service (never too much or too little), liked the menu on the tables; Wine Selections: Excellent; Food: Salad was fresh and fun, soup was delicious, tart was perfectly paired with its wine and a very nice sweet treat; Things to improve: I would consider utilizing the first 30 – 45 minutes as a cocktail mingle [Note from us, we do that, these folks were just 45 minutes late for dinner and missed it.], and then just before dinner was to start, move people around again to refresh the socializing, I would consider including a bit more story telling with the presentation of food perhaps not every menu item, but at least 1 or 2 to give some background on inspiration, challenges, passions behind the food being served, wasn’t enthused with the Indian Market dish primarily because I found it awkward to mix Indian with pasta but then again it could be “old dogs new tricks” problem considering Indian background and eating habits; Overall Experience: I have talked about it already to 5 people I know, I thought Dan and Henry did an excellent job and left a wonderful impression on me, I enjoyed the food and wine, please let us know if you ever visit Vancouver, would love to make some restaurant suggestions for you or even meet up for some drinks." - A.

"Thoroughly enjoyed the evening, we all agreed so afterwards. Agree that feedback is always good, so thanks for asking. General comments;  it is wonderful being allowed into someone's home. We all appreciated that, thank you to you both;  aperitif was Ok but not fab. Understand the tea thing, but go for another recipie next time; food was superb with top marks going to the salmon. Lower marks to the pasta; wine also great, the pinot being our unanimous choice; Know that isn't much to go on, but as you would know, you have an excellent thing going and have honed it to an art. In such circumstances, it is hard to find much wrong!" - R.H.
