Comments from some of the guests:

"Thanks again for the wonderful dinner last night. The food was amazing and it was a great environment. Muchas gracias tambien to Henry." - D.M.

"Thank you for having me. I had a fabulous time (and in fact even tried to send a lovely American-German couple I met in San Antonio your way, but doubt that they'd have been able to make it work). I personally kind of enjoyed feeling wildly out of my element. The crowd was, shall we say, more of a jet-setting nature than I was expecting. The thing that made it slightly awkward (or perhaps slightly easier, it's hard to say) was that our table only sat four. The ultimate dynamic of the four guests is, of course, absolutely beyond your control, but I wonder if (though this would obviously require a completely different layout!) a 6-6 breakdown would be better. Who knows? I tend to think that's such an organic and changeable thing that it really wouldn't matter. The food was lovely, and quite a change from my all-beef diet (I generally only eat meat about twice a month!). For me, the highlight was (highlights were) the appetizer (I was surprised at the complexity of something so seemingly simple) and the dessert (way to bookend my meal!). The chicken dish, for me personally, didn't work, but then I tend not to like to mix my savoury and sweet, and I am very particular about chicken skin. (It is my sinful pleasure, but it must - must! - be crispy.) All in all, as I said, I passed along your contact information, so clearly you're doing something right. Best of luck to the both of you. PS - I was particularly enchanted with the puppy dog toilet paper, if that isn't too déclassé a comment." - K.D.

"Thanks for having us. My only feedback is that our little group thought the food and wine were excellent, and it was fun to meet some new folks ( two of whom I think we will be keeping in touch with). Definitely a highlight of our trip to B.A." - S.N.

"Certainly I enjoyed the evening at your place. Am in States briefly... Suspect will be back in Ba As in April or May... Will look forward to another evening with you." - J.A.

"We, too, enjoyed our lovely night with you and Henry and the rest of the dinner guests. We are definitely going to make arrangements to get together with a few of them. Thought everything was great, though must say that we thought that the Lamb could have been alot more tender. The rest of the meal and wines were in great taste. Continued success to you both, and we will for sure pass your "secret restaurant" onto others when we hear of anyone who is planning traveling to beautiful Beunos Aires." - J.&R.W.
