"The meal and experience we had on July 10 was very enjoyable; I am surprised by how "different" the experience was in 2009 as opposed to the one in 2008. First, I really enjoyed your menu. It was grounded in France, the region I enjoy and which I use so much in my own cooking. Each dish seemed like such a logical progression. Bread and/or baking, appeared to me to run throughout the menu. I guess I found it to be a "theme" which suited the idea of looking back 500 years to rural France. I don't know if anyone else had that sense of it, all I know is that it was very enjoyable. It also seemed to me that as a group of 8 diners, we were much more integrated than on my previous visit. I sat at the large table in 2008, but the conversation always seemed a little "fractured" or disjointed. This time, it was so much like the flow that we always want to have at any dinner party. My kudos to the both of you; I know that any future trip(s) to Argentina will have casa Saltshaker as an essential stop." - M.S.

"Honestly, I can't think of a thing I would change about the dinner and social exchange I was recently a part of at Casa SaltShaker. The food was delicious and the group seemed custom-fitted for me. I was comfortable and enjoyed hearing about the others' experiences in Argentina and life, and loved trying the new foods and wines you had for us. I hope to dine with you again and will recommend the experience to others." - D.F.
