"We had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and I guess our only observation would be that the courses arrived so quickly there wasn't enough time to reflect on what we had just enjoyed eating/drinking. It would've been great to discuss the dishes more amongst ourselves. Of course it must be tricky to time the delivery on courses when you're preparing it all in your kitchen and hosting a large group in your house... so maybe that plays some part in it.? We're back in LA already and were very sad to say goodbye to BA. What a wonderful city and indeed a wonderful country. It was a great trip. We'll keep an eye on your website and be in touch when we head that way again. In the meantime good luck with Casa SaltShaker!" - H.H. & P.R.

"The experience as a whole was fantastic - second to none. Just a couple of comments... The lamb was just a tad hard - you may have noticed that yourself, of course - just something to keep in mind. A few of the dishes seemed to have cream as an ingredient, consider perhaps to limit that to just one of the courses to avoid repetition of flavors. Finally, please consider adding more butter cups for the big table, one every two people? There were only two of them and being the table so wide it was embarrassing to reach out/ask for them accross the table. The warm atmosphere and variety of people assembled was absolutely delightful, sharing dinner with perfect strangers is a pleasure we deny ourselves in a regular open restaurant. For me, this part is as important as the culinary experience. We do recommend Casa Saltshaker to friends and family as a "must do". BTW... it is not said/requested anywhere but we decided that it is only fair to let you be the ones to give your address and numbers away to other parties. We just provide the www site and ask them to go through the whole process themselves, perhaps just mention that they were referred by us. Looking forward to see you again for another delightful evening." - A.R.
