Comments from some of our guests:

"Thanks for having us. We had a great time. The food was delicious, the people were interesting, and the whole experience of eating together was wonderful. I thought you might like to hear about a mini-reunion we had afterwards: Two days later, Jen and I went to Don Julio's for dinner, and ran into D.. and D... Then, as we were finishing our meal, G.. and B.., walked in. The six of us stayed a while at Don Julio's and chatted after dinner. Afterwards, we left for some drinks, and stayed out until 5:00am sitting and talking at a sidewalk table in Plaza Serrano. It was an unforgettable night that never would have happened without that meal at Casa SaltShaker." - S.B.

"Had a great time on Saturday. I think your dinners and themes are fine the way they are. I´m planning to return to BsAs in a couple of years and hopefully I will see you then." - L.G.

"It was such a delight to have a meal with dishes that were beautifully seasoned and well prepared. Just the right amount of spice - you lived up to your reputation, and your name - yours is the first restaurant we encountered in Buenos Aires where we didn't have to reach for the saltshaker! Nice to have a mixed group from all over and a conversation that somehow managed to flow in a mix of English and Spanish without difficulty." - T.R.

"We had an excellent time last weekend at Casa Saltshaker!! The food was delicious, the wine fabulous, the conversation excellent. I thought it worked quite nicely, I hope that most evenings are similar to the one we spent, where everyone is game to meet and talk and work through language barriers, etc. And, I don't know if D... and D..., and S... and J... told you when you emailed them, but we all ran into each other a few nights later, so that was great fun too! We loved our experience at your home, thank you for opening it up to us and others. I hope we'll be back in the not so distant future, your city is gorgeous!" - B.T.

"Our evening at Casa SaltShaker was an outstanding experience! Fantastic food and wine pairings, kind and generous hospitality and lots of lively conversation made for a wonderful evening. I told anyone who cared to listen about what a great time we had in your home. Just got back to the states this afternoon and checked out your blog - even saw pictures of each course - lovely. Wondering if you could provide a few more details about how to make that amazing roasted beet salad.
We surely hope to return to BA and if/when we do, we'll be back!" - D.P.

"We had a great night and enjoyed the ecxursion into Syrian food. Feedback is as follows: 1> Was a bit dissapointed to be in an all english speaking group. We thought that we might have had a chance to practice our spanish/spangligh but it did make for easy conversation. Our guess is that you try to group together english speakers. [Nope, just luck of the draw.] 2> For an establishment called the salt shaker there was no/little salt (both thought this) to be found and the food tasted like it was a little under seasoned. Is that a feature of Syrian food? 3> Wine was lovely and matched the dishes. Besides those realy small comments it was a lovely night and we are thankful for the experience." - G.B.

"Thanks for being so accomodating the other week and for the wonderful meal, we all really enjoyed it. I especially liked the lentil soup, it was delicious." - M.M.
