Comments from some of the guests:

"Thanks for this note and for hosting a memorable night for us in Casa Saltshaker. We had both really wanted to attend a closed restaurant as part of our trip to Buenos Aires, and we are glad we chose you. What a great way to meet diverse people and have conversations with those who you may otherwise never have met (both K... and I particularly enjoyed meeting M..., his wife and N...) - with good food and wine thrown in. Then a couple of very small comments - nothing personal, just one or two observations we had following our night in Casa Saltshaker.
We both felt that the courses came too quickly - I understand that with five courses to get through in one sitting you need to keep the ball rolling. In our opinion it was just a little too quick, but then we do like to pause a little between courses to allow for digestion and conversation. Maybe because we are Irish ;) we also felt that during one or two of the courses, a top up of the wine might have been offered. Again, I know with 5 wines to get through it may seem a lot, but some people like their wines more than others. Not everyone has to say yes to the offer. As you said yourself, the price of a dinner at your home is at the higher end of Buenos Aires restaurants, so we think it would seem appropriate. Thanks again for having us - and best of luck with your future ventures." - D.G.

"We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. You and Henry are very gracious hosts and you are good at sensing what you need to do to bring the group together even filling in as a conversation companion, when the local girl felt out of place not speaking english, all the while making sure the fabulous courses come out timely and well prepared. I especially enjoyed the dessert even though by then I was too full to eat it all. Also loved the dressing on the tomatoes. I have already recommended this experience to a couple of guys from Chile who we met at Tortonis tango show. They were sorry that they were leaving the next day but wrote down the web address since they come here a couple of times a year. I forgot their names but I bet they'll show up one day. Thanks again for the wonderful and unique experience." - L.S.
